If you’d like to get in touch email info@kelsallsurgicalcentre.co.uk

Please be aware that there are circumstances where we may be required to disclose your identity either by law or in the wider public interest, for example, in circumstances where there are safeguarding concerns, alleged fraud, or an issue which requires investigation by an external authority, such as the police.

You can choose to raise your concern anonymously, without giving anyone your name, but that may make it more difficult for us to investigate thoroughly and give you feedback on the outcome.

    Getting back to you

Acknowledgements will be sent within three working days of receiving the complaint. We will then reply in full as promptly as we can - usually within 20 working days.

If the investigation is still going on after 20 days we will write to explain the delay. In very complex cases, which may take more time, we will send you regular progress reports. We may suggest meeting you to talk through your issues and attempt to resolve them.

    Independent internal review

If you are not happy with the response from us, private patients can escalate their complaint, in England, patients can contact the Parliamentary and Health Services Ombudsman on 0345 015 4033 or www.ombudsman.org.uk.

    An independent external review

Private patients have the right to take their complaint to independent external adjudication.

This process is run by the Independent Sector Complaints Adjudication Service (email info@iscas.org.uk or telephone 020 7536 6091) who only become involved once you have been through Kelsall Surgical Centre’s complaints policy. If we have been unable to resolve your complaint, this process will be fully explained in a letter from a Director or Practice Manager.
